After-School-Snacks Recipe No. 1

 Vege-licious Dip
Utensils:
1. Measuring Cup
2. Medium-sized bowl
3. Wooden spoon
4. Colander

Ingredients:
1. A 10-ounce box of frozen chopped spinach
2. 1 Cup of sour cream
3. 1 Cup of plain yogurt
4. 1 Envelope of Knorr vegetable soup mix

What you do:
1. Before you start, take the frozen box of spinach out of the freezer and let it thaw for about an hour.
2. Put the sour cream, yogurt and vegetable soup mix in the bowl. Stir with the wooden spoon until they are mixed together well.
3. When the spinach has thawed [This means it's no longer hard like a block], open the package and squeeze out all the water. A good way to do this is to put the spinach in a colander over a sink and gently shake the colander so the water falls through the holes into the sink.
4. Put the spinach into the bowl with the sour-cream-yogurt-veggie-soup mixture and stir it until the ingredients are well blended.

Refrigate the dip until you are ready to use it. This dip tastes great with crackers or potato chips.

School Project - BIG STORY BOOK

I've participated in BIG STORY BOOK COMPETITION at my school.
I won the first place. るんるんるんるんるんるん
Here is the book and the trophy

Drawing part was difficult. Mommy helped me on that (thank you mommy). I used poster color & color pencil for coloring, and black marker pen for the outline. Here is page 1 until page 16 of my big story book:

Once upon a time, there lived a young frog who often sat upon a very soft lily.

His name was Sniffy...
Probably because he liked to sniff flowers.

One day, while Sniffy was scrubbing his toe in the pond, he felt something moving in the water!

Phew! It was his friend Swimmy, a small fish who lives in the pond.

Swimmy brought a good news. She heard there were giant flowers on the other side of the pond.

Sniffy could hardly wait. He packed delicious food and they set off to sniff the flowers.

They swam...

and swam.....

They encountered a storm.....

A very large bird stole their delicious food.

Sniffy and Swimmy were beginning to think that they would never see any giant flowers.

Nevertheless, they swam and swam and swam.......
until they reached the other side of the pond.

The flowers were huge!!
Sniffy was so happy!!

Swimmy felt a little left out. She could not smell the flowers from the water.

She was very lucky to have a friend like Sniffy.

The end.

Moral Value :
* A friend in need is a friend indeed
* We must work hard to achieve something
